Present Perfect Simple or Continuous
Sometimes there is little or no difference in meaning between the Present Perfect Simple and Continuous.
How long have you worked/ have you been working here?
Some verbs have the idea of a long time. We use them in the Present Perfect Continuous.
wait work learn travel play
I've been waiting for hours.
Some verbs don't have the idea of a long time. It is unusual to find them in the Present Perfect Continuous.

I've bought a new dress.
For verbs that express a state, we don't use the Present Perfect Continuous.
like love know have
We've known each other for a few weeks.
If the sentence gives a number or quantity, we use the Present Perfect Simple.
